4 Mandatory OAF objects to create the search page in OAF 

1.View Object(VO)
2.Application Module(AM)
3.Controller(CO)
4.Page (PG)
5.Entity Object(EO)

Step by Step to Create Search Page In OAF

Here below we are sharing the detail post to create the Search page in OAF.

Step 1:-
Create a new workspace name "RohitSearchPage"
Right Click on "Applications".Click on "NewOAWorkspace".


Enter the name of Workspace="RohitSearchPage".Click Ok.

Step 2:-
Project wizard will open click next.

Step 3:-

Enter the name of the Project="RohitSearchPage".
Default Package= "rohit.oracle.apps.fnd.RohitSearchPage"

Package determines the directory where the java class files and other files related to this project strored.
In this directory oracle.apps.fnd must be required."fnd" is the oracle application shortname you can use other applications like "ak" in this.

Step 5:-
Enter the RunTime connection .Enter the E-business Suit Application User Name and Password.(already explained in the JDev installation).

Step 6:-

Workspace and project has been created.

 Now we create EO.
TO create Entity Object(EO).

Right Click on the project "RohitSearchPage".Click New

Step 7: -

Enter the Entity Object name="SupplierEO"

Defualt Package="rohit.oracle.apps.fnd.RohitSearchPage.server"

Schema Object = XX_SUPPLIER_MASTER               //Your Table Name.

we create "Entity Object" under the "Server" directory of the project as OAF Standard.

Click Next.

Click Next and then Finish.

Step 8:-

EO has Created.

Now we create a View Object(VO) which is based on Entity Object(EO).

Right Click on the project "RohitSearchPage".Click New

Step 9:-

Enter the View Object name="SupplierVO"

Defualt Package="rohit.oracle.apps.fnd.RohitSearchPage.server"

we create "View Object" under the "Server" directory of the project as OAF Standard.

Click Next.

Step 10:-

View Object(VO) has created as below.

Now  we create "Application Module".

Right Click on the project "RohitSearchPage".Click New.
